Main Supervisor

Dr Peter Carswell is a senior lecturer in health management at the University of Auckland, and directs the master in health management program. He is active in research and consultancy focused on complex whole of system change within the health sector. He is particularly focused on organisational development interventions for improving performance on chronic care management.

Co Supervisor

Dr. Tim Kenealy works as a General Practitioner in South Auckland, where he has been in his own practice for 25 years. He is Associate Professor of Integrated Care at the University of Auckland. His academic interests were triggered by seeing a great many people with inadequately managed and controlled diabetes. Diabetes continues to play a central role in his research, teaching and clinical practice
